An essay or an article and a speech are two completely different forms of writing mainly because their medium of communication is entirely different. An essay is written to be read by people whereas a speech is written to be delivered by a speaker with an audience listening to him. The structure of an essay and a speech might be similar but the tone and choice of words is vastly different. In this article we look at the main differences between a speech and the written word. I have always loved to create new papers and express myself through writing and I have noticed a significant change in my writing style. Over the fifteen weeks of being in English , I have learned to write for a purpose.
