PhD thesis, University of Glasgow. With the publication of Jude the Obscure Hardy had finished his work with the novel. Just five years later Dreiser published Sister Carrie , thus making it possible that he could have found in Hardy a model. The resemblances to the Hardyan novel in both the early and later works of Dreiser are striking and varied enough to give encouragement to a hypothesis of direct influence. The evidence in support of this hypothesis we propose to take note of carefully in this study.

Cause you know how they create these tests, especially on philosophy when basically ALL answers are like the same? So just to be on the safe side I ordered everything here and you know I was really surprised that the writer did not guess only 3 questions out of 60, all the rest was great! Lol I wish I could be smart like him, would never do this crazy philosophy quiz so good by myself.
